Ivy Davies Etokakpan (CEO/Publisher)

Eve Afrique, a family and lifestyle magazine celebrating South  South  region of the Country hosted the 2nd edition of its Annual Charity Red Ball on the 7th of April 2012. The well attended event was a night of music and fashion with a Runway show featuring the renowned Davida Shirt Makers alongside Diadem Finishing showcasing the Ethel Bunting collection; Revamp by Princess, and Zhalima Grazioni. This year’s Ball was organised in support of Sickle Cell management and featured an auction of donated items from Event Partners; Art works by Prekeme Kentebe, a ticket to Europe from Airfrance/Klm and a floral arrangement from Serrenissimo Furnishings. Proceeds from the auction went to the Ifeoma Ifejika led SCIMA, a Sickle Cell management NGO based in Port Harcourt.

Guests at the event include Barr Mrs Boma Ozobia; President Commonwealth League of Lawyers ( first female, first black) and Dr S. Parker, Comm for Health ,R/S who both commended Eve Afrique for focus of this year’s Ball and spoke on the need for people to give Health matters the attention it deserves.

This Event is especially dear to me, because the two ladies behind this year’s event; Ivy, CEO & Publisher of the magazine and Ifeoma, COO of the NGO are not just good friends of mine, but also honourable fellow “TOTians”.
