BARELY 4O HOURS TO GO,..…WITH OUR VOTES LET’S ….FOR GEJ’S SAKE

Fellow GEJians,

With barely 40 hours to go until the Presidential elections that will shape the affairs of the nation for the next four years, all supporters of Goodluck Jonathan should become increasingly focused on ensuring that the goodwill he enjoys be translated to physical votes come Saturday. It is not enough to generate so much enthusiasm and come Saturday some people will remain indoors believing their votes won’t really make a difference since Jonathan’s victory in so many people’s opinion is already a foregone conclusion.

GEJ in the course of his campaigns did his utmost best to ensure no groups were left behind. His candidacy has generated enthusiasm within the demographic bases that have never been favorably disposed to politics.

In these last hours of the campaign every little bit counts my brothers and sisters.

ET’S determine the subject of the millions of conversations that would be held in all areas of the country come Sunday April 17th 2001.

LET’S prove that the power of everyday people is stronger than the status quo.

LET’S work hard and fast to cover whatever ground is remaining...

LET’S defy conventional wisdom and for once brave whatever the obstacles are and “GET OUT THE VOTES” come Saturday.

Many have also argued that GEJ lacks the political clout and experience needed to steer the affairs of a nation like ours...As we prepare to join hands to berth a new nation come Saturday, all I ask like the democratic party plea in the last US midterm elections, is that

LET’S all remember one thing: professionals built the “Titanic,” and an amateur built the Ark!

We don’t need any more “Titanics.”
