Forget the Glory strories of his success as Africa's foremost enterpreneur, his knack for breaking down barriers and venturing into business strongholds hitherto the preserve of a few, matching them red cent for red cent and emerging winner; forget the rumours about campaign funding for GEJ, forget the angst most people felt when he was awarded one of the highest medals in the land at the last National Merit Award. 

Yes! I know the details would most likely be included in this soon to be released tell all book on the man that has been named Africa's richest man, though I don't know about the book subhead referring to him as the "richest black man in the world"

On the contrary, what has got my interest piqued is the curiosity to understand how this 'Bounce back kid' made good. It's no secret that Dangote has been embroiled in a lot of high level palaver stemming from his dalliance with OBJ; his questionable stint at the NSE, accounts of his indebtedness to banks for amounts in the region of figures very few can only imagine exist; scapegoating by AP plc etc; yet he always emerges non the worse for wear.

Personally, I know that his story will most certainly resonate with a lot of us.
