"Mummy, Jojo's mummy said you should send her prostitutes"

In all the running up and down in preparation for my Parish's Family Weekend starting today, I forgot to mention a hilarious thing that happened yesterday. Whilst preparing to go out (that in itself was a hectic production; what with my "Bonus" at home because of a case of mumps, it was an effort to think up ways to sneak out of the house without him noticing, because he is currently going through the "mummy, where are you going to?, I want to follow you" phase. When from out of the blue, my Nanny Martha hit me with this; hear her "Mummy, Jojo's mummy said you should send her prostitutes"; OMG, what did I just hear ?, "She said I should bring her what ?" I asked; "her prostitutes" she answered. Oh so, this is no joke. Honestly at this point I was in shock. I mean, Prostitutes? from where ?, how na?. And to think Jojo's mum, my friend Stella is currently out of the country; so how come now?.

At this point I couldn't help thinking there was something wrong with her. The look on her face was what amused me most, she didn't seem at all fazed by what she said and her face was poker straight, infact she didn't seem to understand why I seemed shocked. So noticing that she had totally lost me, she chose to clear the air. When she was done with her explanation, I burst out laughing, I laughed so hard that my Mum-in-love ran out of her room to see what was happening.

This is what Martha said. "On Sunday in Church, dem Jojo their housegirl say that the spoons and plates that dem Jojo them use to bring fried yam to the house that day is for their school food, so please you should allow me bring their prostitues to their house today"
I say ; "Oh! Martha, you mean "Property" She Says ; "Yes "Prosperties" ".

Enough Said.....omly to see this picture online later in the day
