HALLELUYAH! KOSI IS BACK HOME

The news of little Kosi Akilo's return back home to the warm embrace of her family after almost 3 weeks of captivity following her abduction from her parents home in Enugu, Nigeria struck a chord with me. It resonated with me,beacause I could identify with the joy unspeakable her family especially her parents feel; having experienced such a feeling first hand on that beautiful Saturday morning in October 2008 when my two nieces who had been abducted from the gates of their school in PortHarcourt, returned home.

I thank God for watching over her during her time of captivity and I pray that the memories of her time away from home would soon fade away. I Thank God that this story had a happy ending. I worry though about the incessant spate of child abduction that has become the business in trend for a quick buck.
Suffice it to say, my confidence is simply basking in the knowledge that I SERVE A GOD THAT WATCHES OVER HIS OWN.
