DEAR ME (NOTE TO SELF ON THE NIGERIAN POLITICAL SCENE)

In this Season of Open Letters, I can't resist the urge to jump on the train o. Rara O ....but to be on the safe side I am penning it to SELF to remind SELF of the FOLLY OF MERE MORTALS.

Dear Me,

Why are you bothered by all the antics playing out on the political Stage of Nigeria. You should rather wonder if the people do not understand a Con when they see one playing out/unraveling before them.....

Hundreds Carpet Crossing and more to go it seems...The BIG QUESTION IS Carpet Crossing to join WHAT or WHOM? Why do we love to Jump Ship rather than bale out the deluge or fix the plug hole? 

Perhaps unbeknownst to us, we were visited this past Lunar Eclipse by Other worldly beings who Snatched the Bodies of these CROSSERS temporarily and replaced them with CELESTIAL SPIRITS that suddenly have with them all the ANSWERS we so desperately seek?  IF SO I SHOUT HALLELUJAH.

If not I say it's better I seat here by the sidelines and watch intently because its just a matter of time before GARRI SHARING formula throws a mighty spanner in the wheel of the PROGRESSIVE PORSCHE. There is Wisdom n the saying. "Take a pig wash a pig a pig still remains a pig" better still "a tortoise can change destination all he likes but he still carries his baggage around with him"

So SELF its just a matter of time because try all he can "THE LEOPARD CAN NEVER SHED HIS SPOTS" and like Wole Soyinka in his widely acclaimed critic of Leopold Senghor's Negritude movement said "Le tigre ne proclame pas sa tigritude" "A TIGER DOES NOT NEED TO PROCLAIM ITS TIGRITUDE" ...Chei! Course mates/lecturers of ELS UNICAL Class of 89 will be proud e #timewellspentinUNI.

KEEP BELIEVING Therefore  that TIME WILL TELL. 

And thankfully only GOD knows what all these portends and that's why I leave You with these words SELF;

ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL WITH NIGERIA...
