PULL THAT TRIGGER
Experts have stated that in weaponry tactical manoeuvre , Trigger control is the most important component of firearms manipulation due to its complexity and effect on hit ratio (whatever that jargon means), however in lay man terms, I know for a fact that no matter how sophisticated a fire arm is, be it a shotgun, pistol, AK-47, hand held torpedo (you can add whatever kinds/types you know, since my firearm knowledge is limited), it is absolutely useless without the trigger.
Almost anybody (the experts say as young as a 3 year old), has the finger strength to pull a trigger for the firearm to go off, but not everyone has the expertise to ensure that once the trigger is pulled it would ultimately hit target and cause the desired effect for which the firearm was employed in the first place.
Superimposing A gun on the map of Africa albeit on a horizontal angle, I dare say it is evident that Nigeria is positioned at the trigger point (call Us the TRIGGER OF AFRICA if you like) and to my mind's eye it evokes metaphors of all kinds open to a myriad of interpretations by many.
In my "myopic way" I would rather restrict it to a Spiritual interpretation, after all my heart lies where my treasure is, NO? And this heart lies safely ensconced in the Hands of The Almighty JEHOVAH and ploughs even deeper into that PALM, especially given the Shenanigans unfolding right before my eyes.
...It is no mistake that Nigeria earned the slogan "GIANT OF AFRICA"
...It is no mistake that of every 10 Africans you bump into any where in the World at least one third are bound to be Nigerians.
...It is no mistake that whenever we run low on morale, We soar high as Wings of Eagle symbolised by our National Team.
...It is no mistake that one half of the Team that invented the Socket ball, a new horizon in power generation of the future is a Nigerian.
....It is no mistake that Nigeria has chosen the unpopular decision (with the attendant risk of international shunning) of standing against the very evil that incurred the wrath of God enough to destroy an entire Nation with fire and brimstone
....it is no mistake that when you take time to look at the credits at the end of any international/foreign movie you must see a Nigerian's Name (if you doubt me, take time to observe).
.....It is no mistake that Nigeria is the only know Country that fought a Civil War that did not tear it apart and even at the end it was declared a "NO VICTOR, NO VANQUISHED"
I can go on and on, the list of "no mistakes" are not limited to what I have written above....
......IT IS THEREFORE NOT SURPRISING, that the devil having seen how strategic Nigeria is to God's plan for the world, is on a deadly rampage to destroy our Nation by all means necessary.
.......IT IS THEREFORE NOT SURPRISING, that where Boko Haram has failed abysmally to tear us apart and is rather turning its very own lands into killing fields rather than the polarisation it had intended to cause to spread along "ethnoreligious" lines...the devil has upped his ante and has now turned one time friends into sworn enemies, bringing its drums of war to the very core of the nations Economy. Whence Boko Haram can be seen as insurgence and military might is being brought to bear, this particular onslaught from the pit of hell defies all form of logic....it is indeed a Pot Pourri of Hatred, Deceit, Blackmail that has seen once upon a time saints evolve into sinners; Friends are torn apart at the altar of greed and protectors become captors.....
A hundred years ago this same month, Lord Lugard made a declaration that by His Majesty's (The King of England's) orders, the two regions of the Southern and Northern regional governments of Nigeria would cease to exist and be cobbled together to create the Amalgam called NIGERIA.
......IT IS THEREFORE NOT SURPRISING that the battle grows fiercer to bring this Nation to it's knees....
ALL I KNOW IS THAT IN THIS 100TH YEAR, THE MAJESTY OF ALL MAJESTY'S MAY VERY WELL RELEASE A DECLARATION OF HIS OWN CONCERNING NIGERIA....AND NO ONE CAN OVERTURN HIS DECREE...
God Bless Us All as we join hands to pull "THE TRIGGER"
.....OSA
