HEY! SISTER # 2

Did I just hear you cry out "why God? Noooooooooooooooooo!"

C'mon think again SistaDivine, Our God is the God of life, of creation, and God can create new things where it doesn't seem possible. 

Tell you something, most times when he says No! To that thing you desire most, that may just be a beginning of God's new possibilities a time he decides to send an answer (miracle) way beyond your wildest imagination. in a nutshell we must begin to understand that HIS answer of NO often times Heralds an era of new frontiers to be won.

HE didn't start saying NO today :

HE said an emphatic NO to Moses and denied him entry into the promise land. If only Moses had dealt with that little fox called anger.

Even the one after HIS Heart David was told NO when he asked to build the temple and we know why don't we?

Paul received a resounding NO from God when he prayed that the "thorn in his flesh be taken away. Yet in a move that is only known to God, Paul experienced the Grace of becoming miraculously stronger in his weakness. 

How Jesus wept that fateful night before the crucifixion in Gethsamene, hoping that another way to accomplish God's purpose would emerge, yet He that was once beloved and a pleasure to His Father was heard NO loud and clearly in his heart without the Father uttering a word.

And today we who believe understand that NO of that day gone by.

Sister today it's not about whether or not GO's say YES or NO to our requests; it's about what we do with the answers when they are granted us.

No matter the answers we get we must still leave it in his hands and not go shopping for other options.

Are you asking to be blessed so you can keep it to yourself  (remember Hannah), some of us wear God out with our to have lists and once he grants them we preen, dote, worship, serve the creations and forget the Creator

We don't realise that  God creates new possibilities in order that HIS kingdom of love and justice might be established here on earth not just so that we can have something we want...Remember that Yoruba song that says;

Like in the case of Hannah, Out of barrenness and despair, God creates life and hope. 

Where things were impossible, God made possibility. 

God created new possibilities for Hannah 

For Hannah those possibilities were in the child

We miss the point if we think the miracle is the birth of the boy child Samuel the real miracle is the fact that she  gave her precious son back to God.

Of course I know what point I am in my life and I yearn for new possibilities. however  I don't know where each of you is in your life as I type this but I won't be far from the mark if I say there are quite a few of you who are feeling broken and barren (not necessarily childless)   in some way.

Hoping and praying for new possibilities. 

Be sure No one and i reiterate No one but God knows what those new possibilities are.

One thing i know for sure from my far from lack lustre experience,  is  that you can't get the NEW until you COMMIT to giving the OLD up.

It can be painful because you have to offer up the obstinate goat in you for sacrifice for the meek but far from foolish Lamb to emerge. in other words you need to die to  self .  

Do what will cause your heart some pain, for starters try and sell one of your to die for designer stuff and sponsor a soup kitchen if need be.....that's just symbolic but not the Koko of the matter- that's just the Superficiality of it all....but trust me the smiling faces would be worth the "loss"

Rummage in your kids wardrobes and you'll be shocked the number of kids you would be clothing with what your kids consider yesterday's fad.

Yeah! You may say you are not married. It's all Good, but how do you live your life ;like someone with OCD, a wallflower or in active Service for the  Lord while you wait patiently?

Sister Rahab may have ben a prostitute but when it mattered most she made herself available for the Master's Use.

You may think you are too far gone that you may never get a YES from God. But Sister I tell you today that out of the very chaos that is your life HE will create order.

HE will create life out of death, 

HE will provide new possibilities from a hopeless waste. 

Hey! Sister all I ask is you believe that you We  may All "BECOME"
